Got tons of new CD's...a few being "She Must And Shall Go Free" and "Mockingbrid" by Derek Webb, "Underdog" by Audio Adrenaline, "Beauty From Pain" by Superchick, "Everything And More" by Storyside_B, and some others that I can't think of right now.
I've decided upon getting Mr. Holland's Opus DVD that I should get Pride & Prejudice and The Phantom of the Opera DVDs.
Watched Princess Bride today. It always gives me a happy feeling inside. As does 13 Going On 30 and Ocean's Twelve.
New cars/jobs/lives are exciting unless, of course, you're me. I'm terrified of the unknown and I can't stand it.
God is good. Even in the middle of our sin, He is right there waiting for us to crawl back in His wonderful arms. I could linger there all day. He is the only thing that keeps me sane. Some people say that Jesus is a crutch...well, sort of. He heals us, but only when we recognize that we are sick. If a diseased man doesn't know he is sick, he won't think he needs medicine. Jesus isn't a crutch in the sense that He only holds you back, or that He is there for you to lean on in hard times, but not in good times. He is always there. We, however, are not always there. He lifts us up out of the pit and we run for our lives. How will we ever know the extent of His love if we never let Him show Himself to us? God isn't complicated. He loves us. He sent His Son to die for us. He wants to be with us more than anything. We are sinful. God hates sin. Therefore we needed Jesus' blood to cover all our sins so that we could be with God. All that we have to do is acknowledge that we are sinful, and that we need Jesus. Accept Jesus as our saviour, and believe that He will always take us back no matter how much we sin. As a result, we will be with God when we die or Jesus comes back for us!
Simple is an adjective.
