3/24/06 05:37 pm - Who I am hates who I've been

Apparently I need a new prayer board.
I have a white board right next to my bed and on it I put all of the people I need to pray for. That way, it's one of the first things I see in the morning, and compells me to keep praying through the rest of the day.
It's too small apparently. I keep remembering things I should pray for. Like Dani, Joel, Lauren, Andrea, Anna and her fellow missionaries, The Brownings and Cowmans, Addi, and of course, I just added Rita and her church to the list. Oh and who could forget the random boys I feel called to pray for. Like Matt and Casey and Douglas, etc. We live in a world of turmoil and suffering, so I think the list is only going to grow. Oh well, more reason to talk to my Lord!!

3/13/06 08:49 pm - I can't take my mind off of you...

Love Damien Rice.
Got tons of new CD's...a few being "She Must And Shall Go Free" and "Mockingbrid" by Derek Webb, "Underdog" by Audio Adrenaline, "Beauty From Pain" by Superchick, "Everything And More" by Storyside_B, and some others that I can't think of right now.
I've decided upon getting Mr. Holland's Opus DVD that I should get Pride & Prejudice and The Phantom of the Opera DVDs.
Watched Princess Bride today. It always gives me a happy feeling inside. As does 13 Going On 30 and Ocean's Twelve.
New cars/jobs/lives are exciting unless, of course, you're me. I'm terrified of the unknown and I can't stand it.

God is good. Even in the middle of our sin, He is right there waiting for us to crawl back in His wonderful arms. I could linger there all day. He is the only thing that keeps me sane. Some people say that Jesus is a crutch...well, sort of. He heals us, but only when we recognize that we are sick. If a diseased man doesn't know he is sick, he won't think he needs medicine. Jesus isn't a crutch in the sense that He only holds you back, or that He is there for you to lean on in hard times, but not in good times. He is always there. We, however, are not always there. He lifts us up out of the pit and we run for our lives. How will we ever know the extent of His love if we never let Him show Himself to us? God isn't complicated. He loves us. He sent His Son to die for us. He wants to be with us more than anything. We are sinful. God hates sin. Therefore we needed Jesus' blood to cover all our sins so that we could be with God. All that we have to do is acknowledge that we are sinful, and that we need Jesus. Accept Jesus as our saviour, and believe that He will always take us back no matter how much we sin. As a result, we will be with God when we die or Jesus comes back for us!
Simple is an adjective.

2/18/06 07:11 pm - Does Anybody hear her?

She is running
A hundred miles an hour
In the wrong direction.

Lovelovelove Casting Crowns. Lovelovelove Bible Studies. Lovelovelove to paint. Lovelovelove being retarded with people I barely know.
Took a road trip down to VA this weekend. 'Twas fun. Now I have a sort-of jet lag from driving all over creation. Mountains are God's gifts. As are sunsets, and most everything else in this world. He's the ultimate artist. And the best boyfriend in the whole universe.
I'll stop there. You don't want to hear the rest, I'm sure. Verily Yours, Paige

1/27/06 06:52 am - Sometimes you just have to....

Let it go.
Work is a drag, no school in view yet, and one of my former classmate's dad died suddenly. Life is never boring.
It's sad...it's a tragedy, but Jess and Inever got along. I don't want her to think me a hypocrite if I go to her father's viewing. I don't really want to go. So I'm not. Funerals creep me out and freak me out. Eyes are closing....I must get upandgo to work. BLECH.

1/12/06 07:16 pm

It's my birthday.
I'm 19.
Thanks.

1/2/06 10:52 am - Got it from Addi.

I feel inspired. I feel like writing. But Nothing comes to mind. I can't just make the words flow all the time. I have to sit there and calculate the exact way I want to say a certain thing. That is why I never finish a story. I feel like I will be mediocre for the rest of my life, and simply not excel at anything. Love. I excell at loving someone, and giving them my heart all too quickly. Sometimes that gets me into trouble. But it made it very easy to fall in love with God.
Off I go into the wilds of the imagination. My imagination. I can only pray that this next one will be up to par. Love!
